Real estate management, development, and construction company HAGBERG is introducing drone technologies into professional property management in Latvia. In cooperation with the international technology company KTV Working Drone, solutions are being developed for building façade and window cleaning, as well as technical inspections of buildings. The partnership provides access to specialized equipment, software, and operator training.

The maintenance of building façades and windows is often associated with increased safety risks and complex technical execution. To improve work safety and service efficiency, as well as health, safety, and environmental performance, the company is implementing drone solutions designed for façade and window cleaning, as well as technical inspections. The company will begin offering these services in Latvia starting this spring, with plans to expand to the Baltic region and Spain in subsequent development phases.

“Technological development in professional property management is a strategic direction for us. Our partnership with KTV Working Drone strengthens our expertise and expands opportunities to implement specialized solutions. The company’s technologies are already used in 68 countries worldwide, and this experience enables us to improve service quality, work safety, and operational efficiency,” says Ivars Lukaševičs, Member of the Board at HAGBERG, “We aim to work with the best available technology in the market, and we highly value the opportunity to become a Tech Partner of KTV Working Drone.”

“We are very pleased to welcome HAGBERG as a Tech Partner of KTV Working Drone. This partnership is an important step in strengthening our presence in Europe and the Baltics. HAGBERG has demonstrated a strong operational foundation and a clear focus on quality and safety, which aligns well with our technology and way of working. We see significant potential for further growth in the region,” states Kennet Nilsen, CEO of KTV Working Drone.

Efficient Solutions for Complex Urban Infrastructure

Drone solutions are particularly useful for urban buildings with complex architectural elements, , reducing the need for lifts, scaffolding, and street closures, while significantly accelerating work execution and improving safety The system is fully electric, including battery-powered high-pressure equipment, which contributes to lower environmental impact and supports more sustainable property maintenance practices. Stabilization systems, GPS, and distance sensors ensure precise positioning and safe operation even in complex conditions.

Façade and window cleaning can be carried out at heights of up to 250 meters without contact with the surface, using demineralized water and environmentally friendly cleaning agents. Compared to traditional methods, this approach allows work to be completed up to 70% faster, while ensuring more precise and higher-quality results.

In addition to cleaning, drones are also used for technical building inspections, enabling the rapid identification of structural damage, heat loss, and moisture issues. A structured report is prepared, including prioritization, energy loss, and CO₂ emission assessments. This helps building owners plan repairs in a timely manner and optimize maintenance costs. This approach is particularly suitable in Latvia for multi-storey, historic, and architecturally complex buildings.

Partnership Strengthens Technological Development Direction

After a thorough market evaluation, HAGBERG selected KTV Working Drone as its partner, recognizing its ability to provide a higher level of automation, advanced sensor systems that enhance safety and precision, as well as the overall stability and ease of operation for pilots. A key advantage was also the fully integrated system, combining hardware, software, and operational solutions into a single framework.

The introduction of drone technologies is part of HAGBERG’s broader technology development direction, “HAGBERG Technologies.” This initiative serves as a competence center for testing, implementing, and integrating technological solutions into professional property management processes in the Baltics and Spain. The company has already invested more than €500,000 in technology development, ensuring the necessary equipment, training, and integration of solutions into daily operations.
